THE LIGHT OF THE EAST ABU’L FARAC

In Turkey a new book has just been published. Its name is DOÐU’NUN IÞIÐI ABU’L FARAÇ (The Light of The East Abu’l Farac) It is a book which is the most comprehensive about Bar Ebroyo in all languages in the world up to now.

With this book we aimed to give examples from the Works of Bar Ebroyo. You can find example parts from Bar Ebroyo’s 12 books in it. There are the xwritings of the experts who are interested in him, informations about the birth place of Bar Ebroyo. An investigation and research result that he is from Elaz ð (not from Malatya) and pictures and maps of the area of his birth place named Kuþsaray , also the pictures of monasteries in the area, pictures which are belong to Syrian Culture, pictures of manuscripts of his books can be found in the book.

Our Holy Patriarch Ignatius Zekka I was wrote appreciation writing to us for this book.

In the cover of our book you can also find the opportunity to see Bar Ebroyo’s charcoal picture which can not be seen in another place. This is the first time that you see this Picture of him. This picture was drown in Elaz g and still in the church of Gregorios in Elaz ð.

The book prepaired by Sara Tanoglu and Ýshak Tanoglu. It is 422 pages, 40 pages coloured and it is 23x23 cm.

Namely I can say that it is the first and only comprehensive book about Works of Bar Ebroyo in all over the world. It is an encyclopedia of Bar Ebroyo Abul Faraç.
